The bickering and infighting among stalwarts of the APC in Cross River Central and Yakurr LGA in particular is set to come to an end with the resolve of major stakeholders to sheath their swords and work for the collective interest of the party.
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru Usani, former Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Clement Ebri and Special Assistant to President Buhari on Prosecution, Barisster Okoi Obono Obla, who have hardly worked together in the past have resolved to hold a reconciliation rally to unite the different tendencies in the party in the local government and central Cross River state.
The trio are inviting APC stalwarts from across the state and the country as well as stakeholders in Yakurr to the rally slated for Saturday April 15, 2017 in Ugep, Yakurr LGA by 10am.
According to some of their supporters, the rally will put the death nail on the divisions that have bedeviled the party in the LGA and clear the coast for the party to take over the central senatorial district of the state.
