CrossRiverWatch is set to be conferred with a ‘Legacy Award’ as part of activities to celebrate Cross River State at 50 a letter from the project director, Kammonke Abam addressed to the Publisher, Agba Jalingo on Tuesday read.
Established five (5) years ago, the media organization has continuously fed the public with in depth information and analysis of events and activities in Cross River State and the present award which the letter said is “envisioned as an international annual event” will be awarded to CrossRiverWatch in “acknowledgement of its strategic contributions to the development of Cross River State and the nation at large” the letter read in part.
It continued; “This year’s edition of the prestigious Legacy Awards 2017 is the inaugural and it coincides with the grand finale of the commemorative activities for the 50th anniversary of Cross River State.”
The awards are aimed at acknowledging and celebrating those who have made impact and have bequeathed legacies the letter said.
Organized by Profiles and Biographies, a biographical and supplemental information management company, the awards is slated for 11:00 Am on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Transcorp hotel in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
