The Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River on Presidency and National Assembly Matters, Miss Divine Amina Arong, has emerged the new national deputy auditor of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
She was elected alongside 22 other executive at the National Elective Convention of the party held in Abuja which ended Sunday morning.
As earlier reported by CrossRiverWatch, Uche Secondus who had visited Ayade in the company of Governor Nyesom Woke of Rivers state, emerged Chairman.
Also, a Facebook post by Mr. Ayade’s Chief of Staff, Martin’s Orim showed that the state may have cast its 85 votes unanimously for Secondus.
“Uche Sekundos (sic) is the solution to PDP returning back to power in 2019. PDP power to the people,” Martin wrote Saturday afternoon.
Also, former Governors Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke were in attendance at the convention with several other top government functionaries.
