Suspected Robbers Kill Motorcyclist, Steal His Bike In Ugep

A commercial cyclist was on Sunday, stabbed to death by suspected robbers who also made away with his bike in Yakurr local government area of central Cross River State.

The cyclist, unnamed was attacked at the boundary between Nko and Agoi- Ekpo at about 10:00AM on the eve of Christmas while on his way home.

When contacted, the Police declined comment but the Obol Lopon of Ugep, Obo Ofem Ubana told CrossRiverWatch that the Police has commenced investigations into the killing and vowed that he will support them to fish out the perpetrators for prosecution.

The corpse of the deceased suspected to be from convent Ugep, has been deposited at the AC and C mortuary in Ntamkpo, CrossRiverWatch gathered.
