The Cross River State House of Assembly will on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 hold a town hall engagement meeting the House leadership tweeted on Friday.
“The CRSHA will on Tuesday 9th of January hold a Town Hall Engagement meeting at the Cultural Centre on the #ConstitutionalAmendments,” the Leadership tweeted via its handle; @CRS_HOA.
The Assembly invited “All Relevant Stakeholders, Organizations, NGOs, Bodies and Individuals” to attend the meeting.

The Speaker of the House, Mr. John Lebo (PDP Abi) had told co-host of ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ on Hit 95.9 FM that Cross Riverians do not fully grasp the issues behind the constitutional amendments.
He argued that there were some bills that needed technical expertise and insisted that the House will tackle some bills separately to ensure that the members votes reflect the aspirations of their constituents.
