The Chief of Staff to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State, Mr. Martins Orim has filed a suit against a gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Venatius Ikem.
Ikem took to Facebook to disclose this Wednesday afternoon when he wrote that: “A harvest of writs against my humble self. Hehehe… There is another one for breach of fundamental Human Rights of my attackers who are all caught on various cameras! It’s the Rule of Law. We shall follow all processes legitimately to the end.”
A writ of sunmons emanating from a State High Court in the Calabar Judicial Division with suit no: HC/74/2018, and dated February 15, 2018 commanded Mr. Ikem to appear within 8 days after te service of the writ.
CrossRiverWatch understands that Mr. Ikem had accused Mr. Orim of sponsoring thugs to disrupt his declaration rally in Obudu.
