The Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Joseph Bassey, has just joined the of leading Cross River politicians caught sleeping on camera during important state/public function.
Ironically, the Deputy Speaker is gearing up for a 2019 challenge with another famous ‘sleeper’ Essien Ayi, who currently represents, Akpabuyo/Calabar South/Bakassi Federal Constituency.
So whoever wins, the constiteuncy appears like they will sure have a rep who is either going to begin his own sleeping or the one that will just continue his sleeping.
The sharp lens of CrossRiverWatch TV caught the shot during the media parley with members of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists (ACROJ).
The parley was called by the Speaker of the House, John Lebo which he tagged “Public Explanation” aimed at engaging online journalists on the strides of the 8th Assembly.
Hon. Bassey also known as Papa representing Calabar South constituency 2, slept for over 3 minutes and left the parley halfway.
The member representing Boki 2 constituency, Hilary Bissong was also present.
