CrossRiverWatch has obtained a video and pictures showing women in Obubra local government area of central Cross River State protesting over the alleged neglect of their relatives in Osopong by authorities.

Osopong is currently engaged in a battle with Izzi natives of Ebonyi state over land issues with CrossRiverWatch earlier reporting that the government and security agencies have kept mute over the renewed hostilities.

Women, on Wednesday took to the street to demonstrate their anger and shut down the local government council secretariat.

Also, they proceeded to collect taxes and levies in behalf of government to purchase ‘items’ for their relatives at the war front.
