Federal Government Awards Construction Of Calabar–Uyo–Ikot Ekpene–Aba Federal Highway To Julius Berger

The Federal Government of Nigeria has awarded for construction the Calabar–Uyo–Ikot Ekpene–Aba Federal Highway to Julius Berger.

The disclosure was made by Chief Okio Obono-Obla, Special Assistant Prosecution to President Muhammadu Buhari recently via his FaceBook wall.

Chief Obla had posted a picture of work in progress on the Port Harcourt – Enugu axis of the road praising his Principal for a job well done which drew questions from concerned Cross Riverians; Barrister Leonard Anyogo and Mrs. Iquo Inyang about the fate of the Calabar–Uyo–Ikot Ekpene–Aba axis.

Though the contract sum and duration was not disclosed by the President’s aide as Barrister Anyogo urged the contractors to move to site.
