Cross River Deputy Governor, Professor Ivara Esu has tasked online journalists practicing in the state to operate with integrity.
Esu who also advised against embellishment, gave the charge on Thursday while commissioning the secretariat of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists in Calabar.
The Deputy Governor who toured the secretariat had earlier commended members of the association for keeping Cross Riverians across the world informed.
The Acting Chairman of the association, Mr. Hope Obeten in his remarks pledged that members of the association will stick to the ethics of the journalism profession.
