A Federal Legislator, Mr. Legor Idagbo has said that if President Muhammadu Buhari declines assent to the Peace Corps bill, the National Assembly will override it.
Mr. Legor, a first term representative of the Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency stated this while addressing press men during his visit to the Secretariat of the Association of Cross River Online Journalist (ACROJ) in Calabar on Saturday where he expressed concerns about the high level of unemployment in Nigeria.
Mr. Idagbo further called for the non-politicization of the Peace Corps bill and averred that Government’s insensitivity to the plight of the citizenry caused the reluctance to sign the bill.
