SaharaReporters Founder Omoyele Sowore To Hold Calabar Town Hall Meeting In May

Human rights activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, a premier online news platform in Nigeria, Mr. Omoyele Sowore will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Calabar, the Cross River State capital in mid May as part of consultations for his Presidential ambition.

Mr. Sowore who announced his intention to run for President of the country in the February 15, 2019 polls with the trend, #TakeItBack told CrossRiverWatch on Wednesday morning that he will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Calabar to that effect.

Sowore, who is the convener of the Take Back Nigeria movement was in Abuja on Tuesday for a similar event and is expected to travel out of the country where upon his return, will visit Kogi and one other states.

The 47 year old will then travel out again and return by mid May to Calabar for the Town Hall Meeting.

Meanwhile, the acting Chairman of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists, Mr. Hope Obeten had earlier announced that Mr. Sowore is expected to be a guest at a media round table organized by the association while in Calabar.
