The Cross River State Commissioner for Agriculture, Professor Anthony Eneji has disclosed that the administration of Governor Ben Ayade has empowered, trained and given grants to over 700 women and youths in the State.
He made the disclosure in an interview with CrossRiverWatch TV where he maintained that the grants amounting to between 2 to 3 million naira each, were given to beneficiaries to practice agriculture either as poultry farmers, rice farmers or rice processors.
