Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade has felicitated with his deputy, Professor Ivara Esu on the occasion of his 67th birthday, describing him as an epitome of loyalty and pragmatism.
The governor paid tribute to Esu in a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita and issued Thursday in Calabar.
Governor Ayade commended his work ethic towards the actualisation of the administration’s goals of improving the wellbeing of Cross Riverians through industrialisation and other policies.
“Your work ethic, selfless service, intellectual, astute and pragmatic disposition to governance has been a source of strength that drives the effort of this administration to entrench an egalitarian society in Cross River State,” Ayade said.
He said the wisdom which guided his emergence as the Deputy Governor has been brought to bare as his passion for getting the job done, at the right time and the right way despite daunting challenges occasioned by factors not of his making are evident in his day to day life.
Also, Governor Ayade prayed God’s blessings on Esu and wished him, “wisdom, good health and many more years in the service of God and mankind.”
