A legal practitioner based in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, Mr. Ayei Okpa, has said that judging from the facts on ground, one of the factional Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Etim John seems to be the valid elected head of the party in the State.
Mr. Okpa stated this on Sunday while speaking as guest on a radio program, ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ which was monitored by CrossRiverWatch where he said that the recognition given to Mr. John by the national secretariat was enough to view him as chairman.
However, different callers on the program differed on the issue claiming that Mr. John did not vote at the last National Congress of the party and asked him to stop parading himself as the state chairman.
