Popular Afropop and Afrobeat musician, David Adeleke a.k.a ‘Davido’ on Thursday paid a visit to the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba in Portharcourt, the Rivers State capital.
It is unclear what prompted the visit, but sources close to Mr. Ndoma-Egba said he congratulated Davido on his successes so far and admonished him to remain focused and determined in his pursuit of his musical career.
The chairman also acknowledged his enormous contributions to the creative industry.
Davido had also visited the Rivers State governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike and is said to be planning a huge concert to be held in the state by the end of 2018.
