The All Progressive Congress Publicity Secretary, Cross River State chapter, Mr. Bassey Ita has called on Cross Riverians to “have an eye for quality leaders in the course of electing representatives during the 2019 election.”

Mr.  Bassey made the call on air Sunday in Calabar where he maintained that “lack of quality leardership has taken us to where we are today.”

He was speaking as a guest on Episode 111 of ‘The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo’ on Hit 95.9FM, Calabar where he averred that “it is only somebody with antecedents, somebody that can prove to the masses that he or she has something to deliver in terms of leadership qualities, followership and inclinations that should be allowed to represent the people.”

According to him, ‘’True leaders are those who are glued to their people and are tuned to the yearnings of the masses.”
