The General Overseer of the Bible Christian Crusade Mission (BCCM), Pastor Joseph Okoro was on Wednesday kidnapped by unknown gunmen church members say.

Okoro is said to have been kidnapped at about 9:00PM after an evening fellowship in his church located at 55 Webber Street by Elijah Henshaw in Calabar South, with his abductors taking him away in his vehicle.

“After fellowship, he entered his vehicle to drive home and they people who may have arrived in another vehicle ordered his orderly to come down and face the ground and he was driven away in his car, an Army Green Lexus,” a church member (names withheld) told CrossRiverWatch.

CrossRiverWatch gathered that Okoro’s kidnapped has been reported to almost all the security agencies in the State who are said to have alerted their personnel to be on alert.

The Police could not be reached for comment as at press time.
