The Cross River State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has dissociated itself from the one day solidarity rally and prayer for Ayade that is scheduled today Sunday 23rd of December, 2018, at the millennium Park, Calabar.

The disclaimer was done by the PFN State chapter Chairman, Dr. Lawrence Ekwok through a statement made available to our newsroom.

Dr. Ekwok said the denouncement was apt and timely, following the numerous calls and text messages he had received to confirm the claim.

The memo which is titled ‘PFN Not A Party To Pray For Ayade’, reads in part;

“Following the several calls I have received in respect of the text messages and radio announcements to the effect that) ‘Pray For Ayade’ group is organising a 1 Day Prayer/Solidarity Rally at The Millenium Park, Calabar on Sunday 23rd Dec.,2018 by 3pm prompt.

“I wish to state categorically that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN Cross State is NOT a party to IT and is NOT involved in anyway.” He ended.
