The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to conduct a free and fair election, warning them to desist from rigging the election.

Mr. Abubakar while addressing his supporters at the UJ Esuene stadium reacted to the recent controversial “body bag” utterance by the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam El-Rufai, Abubakar saying “Nigeria is Indivisible. The killings that has happened in this administration is innumerable, and that killing has to stop. I therefore call on INEC not to yield to pressure from APC and Muhammad Buhari to rig this election. The military has no business with politics and election.” He said.

The former Vice President promised to work in partnership with the State Governor to complete the industrialization projects on going in the State, if elected into office.

While also canvassing for vote for the PDP candidates, National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus all beckoned on Cross Riverians to come out enmass to vote for PDP come February 16th and March 2nd, 2019.

“A State that gets almost the least allocation, yet we are able to pay salary even before end of the month. We are number 35 out of 36, yet we have enjoyed over seven thousand men and women. The Garment factory is functional and it has employed over three thousand women and youths. The Cala Chicka is on, toothpick factory, the Vitaminized Rice Seed and Seedlings, Cala Pharm, and so on. This great ideas that have started we must continue and complete in the next tenure.” He said.
