Our newsroom gathered from a member of the Obudu Youth Council who pleads anonymity that after the incident between the Nigeria Army and a particular gangster group the Army sent a delegation to the community Chiefs requesting that two suspects involve simply identified as “Eddy Crocro” and “Ilam” be handed over to them.

An eyewitness who spoke on anonymity concerning the alleged arrest Tuesday said, “That the Army officers moved from street to street, having the Police leading the patrol with their van, pointing out any suspicious looking male to the Army officer for arrest.

This was not just an arrest as the victims were beaten mercilessly before taken away. They went through Anderson street, Ikwen Ogar and even the market to chase some boys”. He said.

As at press time the number of arrests made is said to be more than ten according to eye witness account.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts made to get comment from the State Security Adviser North to Governor Ayade wasn’t successful as well s the Police.
