LIVE: One Stabbed Voting Halted In Imabana, Incomplete Ballot Papers In ward 6 Unit 5 Calabar South

An All Progressives Party agent has been reportedly stabbed and voting process disrupted in unit 11, Ibok, Imabana in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State.

In another development, a PDP part agent in ward 6, unit 5 Calabar South “election can not hold until the materials are complete, bring one ballot paper that contained 100 votes and we will vote or else no election”.

Though there are agitations from left and right among the electorate either to wait or leave. Other units are complaining of delay and inability of the officials in handling the process.

Meanwhile in Akpabuyo, Ikot Nakanda, unit 033 voting just and the area is calm. In Ogoja accreditation commenced at 9:30 am, at Nkum Irede ward, Ogoja Local government area polling unit 008. Also 005 in nkum Irede has commenced accreditation at 9:15 am, security is tight.

At the polling Unit 006 (Assemblies of God church Bebuabie) of Ipong ward in Obudu, voting is yet to starts at 9:28am due to the smart card reader failure. The Presiding Officer blames this on the poor network reception in the area

Accreditation commences at the polling unit 013 (Migrant Primary School), Begiading ward but voting is delayed as they don’t have a voting pad.
