The report ought to be “The Executive Director of Rainforest Resources and Development Centre, Mr. Odey Oyama has called out the Secretary to Cross River State Government, Mrs. Tina Agbor to produce copy of the State House of Assembly resolution authorizing her office to pay the construction company in charge of the Super Highway an Irrevocable Standing Payment Order of three million Naira monthly, in favor of Messrs Sydney Construction Nigeria Limited.
“The Non-Governmental Organization in a four-page letter addressed to the office of the SSG and dated 8th of April, 2019 queries the payment method, which is said to be in respect of the construction of the 275km – 6 lane Calabar – Ikom – Katsina Ala super highway.”
