The continuation trial of Citizen Agba Jalingo which was adjourned to today Wednesday 20 November, 2019 has been further adjourned to next Wednesday 27 November, 2019.
Our reporter at the Court was informed that the Court wasn’t meant to seat today which led to the further adjournment.
Our reporter also observed that on the contrary, the Court is seating and has six cases on its schedule excluding Jalingo’s.
One of the Correctional Service personnel that brought in other inmates told our reporters that the reason for not bringing him cannot be disclosed but that he’s not in the list of those to appear in Court in their records.
Agba Jalingo, publisher of CrossRiverWatch is standing trial for exposing alleged corruption by the Cross River State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade.
