On Agba Jalingo And Governor Ayade’s Mockery Of Self BY UTSU ATSU

I was driving home from work late evening yesterday, got a call from a friend who directed me to watch Channels TV, saying that Ayade was on TV about Agba Jalingo. I quickly linked myself to the program on my DSTV now app. I must say that Gov. Ayade is the most appalling Professor and Governor in Cross River State history. I listened to him, I watched him battle with himself in a frantic effort to make the public believe his lies.

He said Agba Jalingo is held by the Federal Government for treason. This is not true. We recall that charges against him have been amended and remodified severally all in a bid to get him out of circulation.

He was first invited by the Police to answer for an article he wrote about Ayade’s diversion of 500 million naira meant for the take off of a micro finance bank in the State. They put it then that, he, Jalingo disrupted peace by that right up. Like I said the charges were modified to incarcerate him.

If Jalingo is held for treason why was he arrested from Lagos and brought to Cross River State? He took part in the “Revolution Now” protest in Lagos not in Cross River. Why does Ayade think that his treasonable villainy will not be detected?

Gov. Ayade lied that he has been working to see Agba Jalingo release. But he didn’t say how. He has rather been making sure this young man remains in custody, unless he agrees with his terms: to retract the 500 million naira community bank scam and agrees and signs to only publish things approved by Ayade’s Government. These terms were all turned down by Agba Jalingo, “he rejects compromise and demands justice”. Jalingo is dogged.

The public needs to speak against tyranny, else it will be consumed. Ayade is one of such tyrants to be confronted as he has held the State by the throat.

I prophesy today, that for the many days that Agba Jalingo has spent in an unjust incarceration, for the agony and torture he has been made to undergo, for the pain his wife and family have been made to suffer, I tell you sincerely many will leave to see Gov. Ben Ayade suffer twice as much.

He, Ayade, being a Catholic knight of disrepute should know that darkness has never overcome light. Ever.
