The Socio-Economic Rights Accountability Project (SERAP) has dragged the Federal Government of Nigeria and Cross River State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade to ECOWAS Court over the continued incarceration and rights abuse of Citizen Agba Jalingo, publisher of CrossRiverWatch.
The group made the disclosure via twitter yesterday after the ultimatum it gave the State Governor elapsed.
SERAP is yet to release full details of the suit. The journalist has been incarcerated for 168 dyas now.
