The Niger Delta Activists Forum currently is protesting the sack of about 3,000 workers by the Cross River State Government.
The group had issued a press release condemning the action in strong terms, and gave the Sen. Ben Ayade administration seven days ultimatum to reverse its action.
The forum not satisfied with the silence of the State Government has mobilised its members for a peaceful protest which is ongoing.
The gate to the State Secretariat has been under lock and key by the group, our reporter on ground says Police are present but no Government official has come to attend to the peaceful protesters.
