Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has presented NGN277,708,765.550k as the 2021 appropriation bill to the State’s House of Assembly.
The conversations preceding the budget was that of the name ascribed to it, and Mr. Ayade drew mixed reactions when he announced the tag as “Budget of Blush and Bliss.”
The capital component of the budget is NGN85,196,800.00k while recurrent expenditure is NGN192,511,985,550 with the Governor pledging to focus on security, neighborhood watch amidst rising levels of insecurity.
