Angry Local Government pensioners have taken over the Murtala Muhammad Highway, Calabar by SUBEB.
The pensioners are part of those believed to have been mistakenly declared dead by the Cross River State Government, findings revealed.
They were invited for another round of verification today but on reaching the venue, they were informed that the exercise will no more hold Monday but Tuesday.
Angered by the postponement owing to the fact that, some came from outside the State capital, Calabar barricaded both sides of the highway.
As at the time of filing this report, they were yet to be addressed by Government representatives.
