Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday, met with former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Duke, who arrived the State House around 4:30pm, proceeded straight to Osinbajo’s office.
Though the agenda and outcome of the gathering were unknown, sources, however, said that it was a private parley.
Duke, who governed the South South State between 1999 and 2007, was famous for his tourism initiatives.
He established the Tinapa Resort and popularised the Obudu Cattle Ranch.
In 2019, he vied for the presidency on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
