Attah Ochinke Emerges NBA Calabar Branch Chairman, Court Set Joseph Odok Free, Takes Date For Jalingo’s Trial

Barrister Attah Ochinke has been elected as the new Chairman of Doyen Bar – Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Calabar Branch.

He takes over from Barrister Paul Ebiala.

In another news, Mr. Joseph Odok has been set free of his terrorism charges.

Justice Rosemary Dugbo-Oghoghorie of Federal High Court 2 Calabar struck out the suit on Thursday July 1st, 2021 after the Attorney General entered a nolle prosequi.

In a related development, the four count charge case against Citizen Agba Jalingo, Publisher of CrossRiverWatch is to continue July 26th, 27th and 28th, 2021 at Federal High Court 1 Calabar.

The Judge presiding over the case of terrorism and treasonable felony is Her Lordship, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.
