A truck conveying products from the LaFarge HolCim plant in Mfamosing has crushed a family four in Akansoko junction of Akpabuyo Local Government Area of southern Cross River State.
The event happened this evening. The family was atop a motorcycle.
“A man, his wife and two children were crushed to death by the LaFarge truck,” a source in the plant told CrossRiverWatch.
Their names have not been confirmed.
There is current apprehension that trucks with LaFarge products may be attacked by angry community member.
