Edgerley Memorial Name Sport House After Late Temitope Ekpenyong

Edgerley Memorial Girls Secondary School Calabar has named a sport house after the late Mrs. Temitope Ekpenyong Ita.

Late Temitope was the wife of Mr. Ita Ekpenyong, retired Director General of the State Security Service (SSS), now Department of State Services (DSS).

She was called to yonder in March 2019 after a brief illness.

In an appreciation letter to the school by the deceased husband, Mr. Ita thanked the missionary school for finding it thoughtful to name a house after his “irreplaceable wife”.

He said the deep emotions and trauma of her unexpected death has been unbearable and overwhelming to the family.
