N8 Billion Dangling Over My Head Like The Sword Of Damocles BY AGBA JALINGO

The Cross River State Commissioner for SDGs, Oliver Orok, has sued me and CrossRiverWatch, for N5 billion for allegedly calling him a “cultist” and/or gangster.

“Cross River Micro-Finance Bank” has sued me and CrossRiverWatch, for libel and are asking for N2 billion

Senator Florence Ita-Giwa wants to sue me and CrossRiverWatch, for N1 billion for accusing her of using Bakassi as a “meal ticket.”

That’s a total of N8 billion, and more are on the way. That’s the equivalent of four months federal allocation from FAAC to Cross River State, yet the person they are suing is not even a millionaire. But one of the persons planning to sue me has handled more than N8 billion without meaningful impact back home. Even the holy Bible says the wealth of the gentiles will come to us, not the other way round.

The FG is still hanging treasonable felony and terrorism charges on my neck, that potentially can take my life by firing squad or by hanging, in the worst scenario. But you see ehh, only the guilty should be afraid. I am not.

If I have N8 billion that these folks want me to give them today ba, I won’t even waste a cent of it to run for elections. But what I will do, will forever remain etched in the minds of Cross Riverians and Nigerians, through the next generation and I am not joking. I am not talking about charity because I already do that. I will build enduring legacies that politicians in our State, including those who are suing me, lack the imagination to envision regardless of how you urge them on.

And like I have stoutly maintained – the courtroom is not a firing squad, neither is it a gallow. I will submit myself to all the processes and in the end, God will give justice to the just. That I am very sure about.

Yours sincerely,
