Eyo Okpo-Ene Joins The Race To Replace Gov. Ben Ayade, Promise To Be Different

Mr. Eyo Okpo-Ene has joined the race for the office of Governor in Cross River State come 2023.

His decision was made known in a statement after picking the PDP nomination and expression of interest form.

The former Special Adviser to Governor Liyel Imoke on Religious Affairs and Odukpani Local Government Chairman said: “I would not enter this formidable race if l did not believe that l can win.

“But neither would I run for Governor without a deep conviction that l can make an essential contribution to the Cross River State Government and the people.”

According to him, after careful observation, the leadership problem is centered around a “ total lack of governance,” adding that “I understand the issues. I have experienced them first hand.”
