CrossRiverWatch’s Entertainment Correspondent, Clement Oto-Obong better known as Walata Worldwide brings to you exclusive pictures from the funeral service of the founder of Intercessors Bible Mission, IBM, Archbishop Archibong Archibong.

Archbishop Archibong passed away April 1, 2022 at his residence, 5 Bishop Archibong Avenue, Adjacent Navy Reference Hospital Calabar.

Family source says he was called to yonder after finishing 90 days prayers for Cross River State and Nigeria without symptoms of illness.

And, at the sing song night and funeral service held at Intercessors Bible Mission and interment at his residence Calabar, witnessed the clergies, businessmen, politicians, well wishers, family and friends trooped in to bid him eternal journey farewell.

Most notable clergy, politicians and associates who attended the event includes; Bishop Joseph Bassey, Bishop Eno-Obong Etteh, Bishop Godwin Effiong, Bishop Emma Isong, Apostle Helen Ukpabio, Rev. Trinity Ogar, Rev. Sylvanus Tommy, Bishop Jude Ifeanacho, Apostle Paul Simon, former Governor Donald Duke, Sen. Gershom Bassey, Efiok Cobham, Rev. Victor Ukim; members of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, CAN, among others.


Monday 2nd May, 2022, opening of mourning house at his residence Intercessors Bible Mission parsonage. 5 Bishop Archibong Avenue, Adjacent Navy Reference Hospital Calabar. Time, 7am.

Tuesday 3rd May, 2022, Symposium on life and times of the Archbishop. Venue Intercessors Bible Mission IBM Cathedral, time 4pm.

Wednesday 4th May, 2022, Praise and worship evening in honor of our father the Archbishop at the church IBM Cathedral. Time, 4:30pm.

Thursday 5th May, 2022, Service of songs in honor of His Grace at his church, IBM Cathedral, time, 5pm.

Friday 6th May, 2022, lying in state, at His residence IBM Parsonage, 7am, and at the church Cathedral, 7:30am.

The funeral service and interment begin by 9am.

Sunday 8th May 2022, thanksgiving service at IBM Cathedral.
