All is set to commit to mother earth the grandmother of CrossRiverWatch publisher, Agba Jalingo – Mrs. Mary Andokie Ikwen (née Ushie) on October 14th – 15th, 2022.
“Ama-Bebuatsuan (Mama Bebuatsuan)” as she was popularly referred to, was called yonder in the early hours of Saturday in Udigie, Obudu Local Government Area at the age of 121 years old (1901-2022).
A native of the Begiaba community, she was married first in Ukwel-Obudu where she bore two children including Mr. Jalingo’s mother who passed away in 2016 and later in Bebuatsuan where she bore two more.
