Kehole Enya Esq, the author of “Walking In Your Purpose,” a book that guides youths on the path of self-discovery on Friday during its presentation said the need to ensure young ones are properly guided inspired his journey into writing.
Enya said many youths with potential failed at life because there is no guide for them and expressed optimism that the book will motivate those who read it.
“I have been a leader of young people for some years. I have seen many people’s lifestyles and behavior and it is obvious that there is something missing in their ability to pursue a course.
“What walking on purpose does is that it gives you a consciousness of who you are and it tailors and constrains your activities and lifestyle to ensure that you pursue the fulfillment of your personality and achieve your maximum potential. Getting the youths to do that inspired the book,” Enya said.
He did not leave out a legal perspective to the book and pointed out that laws were basically a guiding tool that one has to obey in line with divine law.
He averred that; “The law is a construct to regulate human behavior and conduct. If you are walking in your purpose, you have to subscribe to that as well. There is something called divine law as well, which you have to subscribe to in order to walk in your purpose.”
The book which took two years was presented to members and invited guests at The Apostolic Church, Afokang district headquarters in Calabar by Dr. Lionel Effiom, a clergyman and lecturer in the Department of Economics of the University of Calabar.
The university don, hailed the book’s direction and recommended it as one of the tools for parents and guardians to teach their children and wards respectively.
He said Mr. Enya had fulfilled his purpose through the publication and public presentation of the book and enjoined youths to emulate his path.
The presentation which was part of a birthday thanksgiving service of the author climaxed with special prayers for Mr. Enya who expressed his gratitude for those who supported him.
The book is already published on seller.com and is available in stores and Apostolic Church branches.
The author said it will be on Amazon books in the coming days and will be sold for NGN2,000 only.
