Jungle Justice: Man Burnt To Death For Alleged Phone Stealing In Calabar

A man in his late 20s identified as Eyo has been set ablaze for allegedly stealing a phone in Calabar, Cross River State.

The jungle justice occurred at Edim Otop by Stream Road on Sunday where the suspect was said to have robbed and raped a lady in her house in the area.

Source told CrossRiverWatch that luck smiled against the suspect when the lady managed to raise an alarm, prompting neighbors to lynch him.

The police had since evacuated his remains from the scene and normalcy restored in the area.
