Patrick Uguge In Police Net For Raping His Ward

Men of the Nigeria Police have arrested one Mr. Patrick Uguge for allegedly rapping his ward.

Mr. Patrick, a former member of the State House of Assembly, from Ogoja was arrested following a complaint against him by Basic Rights Counsel Initiative, BRCI to the State Commissioner of Police.

He was arrested for allegedly raping his ward (name withheld) living with him. The incident occurred in mid-April 2023 in Ogoja.

BRCI in its letter signed by Barrister James Ibor, Principal Counsel urged the Commissioner to ensure justice prevails.
