Only Government Vehicles Due For Boarding Should Be Boarded – Ayade Warns

The Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade has warned that only government vehicles that are due for boarding should be boarded.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita, Esq directing that the right of first refusal should be given to those to whom the vehicles are officially attached.

According to the release, it is to “ensure a transparent, smooth, and orderly process.”

Reasons for the directives cannot be ascertained at the time of filing this report but there are reports that it is due to indiscriminate boarding of official government vehicles and for other personal uses.
