You Want Money Right? Come With Me … BY AGBA JALINGO

Getting money cannot be disconnected from a skill, a product, a service or value addition. Unless you want to live on alms or charity.

Even if it is inherited fortune, someone must have used a skill, sold a product or offered a service or added value, in the past, to earn that which you have inherited or will inherit.

Notice that I did not mention certificates. That was deliberate. That is because certificates do not give money. A certificate is defined by the dictionary as an official document attesting a fact. Simply put, the issuer is simply attesting that the receiver has and can.

A certification is basically a guarantee that the person holding it has knowledge on the specified subject and is prepared to work in that field. You have to do the actual work to get paid. The certification itself has no correlation with getting money. Money does not respond to that stimulus.

Let us also look at it like this; there are very many people who seek certification not because they want to use it and get money. Very many. There are royals who may never need to get a certificate or even use the ones they have acquired at any time in their lives, yet they have so much money.

There are those who get certificates just for ornament and reputation. Some get the same only to win an argument of wit. Some get them to meet social stratification. While some others get them to fulfill heartfelt vows as well as others who seek certification for the promotion and preservation of knowledge. Yet, many more get the certification hoping to use it to get money.

So most young people today get really heartbroken after acquiring certificates and are still incapable of making money. They fail to accept that a certificate does not entitle you to money.

Getting money rather has to necessarily come through having:

  1. Skill – That’s the ability to do something well. Whether you have a certificate or not, every human is equipped with the natural ability to do at least one thing very well and even multiple things. You just have to be adept in one area that others are looking for. Market it. They will pay money for it.
  2. Value – That’s the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. What is your value and what value can you add if you are brought into a team for instance? Like salt or seasoning, what value will those who eat miss if you are removed or added to the soup? Your value is not your skill; the two are not the same, but your skill can be valued. When you have value and can add value, the result is money.
  3. Product – That’s an article or substance that is manufactured or refined for sale. You must have something of good quality that you barter. All the money in the world is actually only looking for what it will be spent on (buying and selling), so it can multiply. So create a product or buy and sell. If you can’t create, resell. Distribute. But just know that money will come if there is a product.
  4. Service – That’s the action of helping or doing work for someone. You know what I mean by that. When you have a service or services that you are capable of offering, you will know that the services industries control the world’s biggest money. You only want a pinch of it to start making the money you need.

Let me also inform you that even those who make money fraudulently must rely on those four cardinals to be able to make the money. They are skilled in their vices. They offer value to lure you. Then present a product or service for you to patronize. That is the stimulus that money responds to. Money doesn’t know whether its seeker is honest or dishonest.

And finally brethren, note also that there are some skills, values, products and services that do not sell. While there are others that sell like hot cake. There are those that are seasonal. There are those that sell in one place rather than other places. So in choosing and developing these offers, whether it is a skill, value, product or service, ensure you target those that are sellable to the widest number of people and by so doing, even if you don’t make all the money you need, you can at least make the one that will pay your bills and reduce your pressure.

Receive fresh energy to make money this week.

Yours sincerely.
