BREAKING: Governor Otu Appoints ACROJ Chairman As Deputy CPS, 8 Other Media Aides

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has appointed the Chairman of Association of Cross River Online Journalists (ACROJ), Mr. Edem Darlington as the Deputy Chief Press Secretary, and eight others into his media team.

The appointment is contained in a press release dated 19th June 2023, and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Owan Enoh stating that it is with immediate effect.

It added: “All concerned are to immediately proceed to the office of the Secretary to the State Government for proper briefing and documentation.”

The appointees are:

  1. Mr. Edem Darlington- Deputy Chief Press Secretary.
  2. Mr. Nathaniel Otaba – Special Assistant Communication
  3. Mr. Andrea Inyang Ekeng- Special Assistant, New Media
  4. Ms. Imani Odey – Special Assistant, Electronic Media
  5. Mr. Rasheed Olarewaju – Special Assistant, Media, and Publicity
  6. Mr. Oqua Etim – Personal Assistant, ICT
  7. Mr. Joseph Inyang – Government House Compere
  8. Mr. Daniel William – Personal Photographer to the Governor
  9. Mr. Godswill Ekpe – Personal Cinematographer to the Governor.
