The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has paid a condolence visit to one of his security aides, Inspector Okon Edet, who lost his wife during labor.
The visit was yesterday, 8th August, 2023 at 8 Miles where he lives.
The governor expressed sadness upon hearing the news that warranted the unscheduled visit.
He said, “I feel pain that a situation that should naturally provoke happiness in that family upon the news of a newborn baby, turned out this sorrowful.”
Praying for the family he said, “My prayers are with the family of Inspector Okon Edet, his friends, and all others passing through one issue or another.”
