The Government of Cross River State Government has announced general sanitation in all markets in Calabar.
The announcement is contained in a press release signed by the State Commissioner for Environment, Honorable Moses Osogi, notifying all market leaders, traders, and the general public of the cleanup.
He said the sanitation in all markets in Calabar shall be held this Saturday (tomorrow) 9th September 2023 between the hours of 7:00 am to 9:am.
The Commissioner said all should be duly informed as failure to comply will attract severe fines and penalties accordingly.
“This is to notify all Market Leaders, Traders, and the General Public that all markets in Calabar shall observe General Sanitation on Saturday, 9th September, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 am to 9:am.
“Be adequately informed that failure to comply will attract severe fines and penalties accordingly. All affected should take note accordingly.
