The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has reduced working days for civil servants in the State from five to three days.
Governor Otu said the reduction is to help cushion the effect of the hash transportation hike occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy.
According to his Special Assistant on New Media, Andrea Inyang Ekeng the Governor announced an additional N10,000 monthly allowance to all civil servants.
Similarly, he has announced free antenatal care services for pregnant women in the State using government hospitals.
