Lifeless Body Found In Street Of Calabar, Senior Pastor And Daughter Kidnapped

The Senior Pastor of Word Alive Church Calabar, Reverend Mike Obiora, and his daughter have been kidnapped.

The kidnap is said to have taken place at Atu Street,  Calabar South Local Government gun Area, a stone throw from his church when unknown gun men whisked him and his daughter away in the night hours of Thursday, September 21, 2023.

In another tragedy, an unidentified man believed to be in his 30s has been found lifeless along the street of Eta Agbor, Calabar.

Business owners in the area in the early hours of Friday expressed shock at the incident as they muttered in groups what might have led to his demise.

When contacted on the two incidents, the  Police Spokesman in Cross River State, SP Irene Ugbo said she is not aware as the kidnap case has not been reported.

She also said the same about the lifeless body but said the various Divisions covering Atu and Etagbor areas would be contacted for situation reports.
