Residents of Tinapa in Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State have called on the State Ministry of Environment and the Calabar Urban Development Authority (CUDA) to evacuate a lifeless body on that axis.
A corpse is seen lying in the said junction for the past three days and beginning to ooze repugnant smells.
“This is an appeal to the Cross River State Ministry of Environment and CUDA, there has been a corpse lying by a waste disposal just before you get to Tinapa Junction for more than three days now,” a resident in the area who craves anonymity said.
The resident continued: “It’s so bad that it’s oozing and unhealthy for residents of the area. Please can the right authorities do something about this.”
