The 2023 Carnival Calabar with the theme, ‘Season of Sweetness’ has officially kicked off in full gear with activities at their peak.
While the Africa’s biggest street party, the Carnival Calabar is just a matter of hours, yesterday Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 witnessed displays of Nigerian cultures and traditions.
The Cultural Carnival in the metropolis drew cultural attires and displays from various parts of the country to Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
And on Wednesdays, December 27th, 2023, it was the turn of the Children’s Carnival.
The children in their numbers thrilled the spectators with dancing prowess and stunts leaving indelible aesthetic experience in the minds of the mammoth cheering crowd.
