The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has given civil servants in the State, 13 Christmas and New Year holidays.
In a press release made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Ogbeche, the Governor appreciated workers for their commitment and hard work and approved December 20th, 2023 to January 2nd, 2024 as holidays except for those on essential duties.
The number one worker in the State – Otu, enjoined civil servants to use the opportunity to spend quality time with their families while also being actively involved in the Carnival Calabar.
He reiterated the commitment of his administration to providing a quality and conducive environment for all citizens and residents of the State while wishing Cross Riverians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
